John: I consult with CPA's on practice management issues and related technology. In my practice, I am using the Network Systems Practice Management system. This application has some unique features such as database, screens, and reports customization capabilities. It can also share information with other applications such as databases, word processors,spreadsheets, and PIM's. Network Systems also has a law firm version. The system is very easy to use for time entry and billing purposes. I wrote an articel that reviews seven practice management applications. It is the September 11 issue of Accounting Today.
