Hi, there,
  Sorry for bothering you, but I really appreciate it if anybody can
help me on some computer memory questions....

I have four 1 MB SIMMs which have 9 chips on each module. I got them 
from an old Zenith 386 computer. I guess they are parity type, but I am
not sure if
they are true parity or just fake parity.  Since I have a PC 386/40
which already has 4 MB RAM (non-parity type)on the motherboard, can I
just plug these SIMMs into the motherboard to expand RAM to 8 MB? In
other words,  can I mix them ? Or, is there a way to prevent computer
crash from happening if I mix them in one motherboard?
