My CD driver get trouble recently. It often failed to read a CD at the
first time. The driver doesn't pay attention on the retry function, so to
make the it to read a CD, I need to open and close the drive for several
time. (why CD drivers do like floppy drives, which are sensitive with the
retry function after failure readings?) I have tried some software to
control the driver but all of them only support open/close functions. 

Can anyone tell me which software can assist to read a CD after a failure
reading without opennig and closing the driver twice or more. My CD driver
is on acceptable condition and it still be glad to love a few CDs at first
sight. Thanks for your help.
