Memory card device ID...

I've searched the archives...can't find any info. Perhaps this is easier
than I think it is...

What API calls will allow me to get the Device ID of an inserted memory
card? The Card Info application does this so it should be possible...

Thanks for any help!

Should work like this:

	UInt16 slotRefNum;
	UInt32 slotIterator = expIteratorStart;

	/* loop over all slots */
	while (slotIterator != expIteratorStop)
	{
	    if (ExpSLotEnumerate (&slotRefNum, &slotIterator) != errNone)
	    {
	        ExpCardInfoType cardinfo;

	        if (ExpCardInfo (slotRefNum, &cardinfo) != errNone)
	        {
		    /* cardinfo.deviceUniqueIDStr is the info you want */
	        }
	    }
	}

More info in the Expansion Manager chapter in the API Reference stuff.

Thanks Logan - that's exactly what I was looking for.
