need a utility/tool suggestion for debugging a database app

I have a database application that runs on my Tungsten T/m550 that writes to
a PDB file. I'd like to monitor the state of the data inside the file on
the m550 from my PC while the app is running. Right now all I have is the
USB hotsync cradle and I'm transferring the .PDB file up to the PC via
hotsync and then viewing the file using pdb viewer- tedious at best, and its
difficult to see exactly whats changed. The goal is to understand the
internal file layout so that I can write some reports from the data.

What util/tool/app - cable combination will allow me to watch the data in
real time? I want to see the values in the db change as I make changes in
the app. I'm not a palm developer so I'd prefer a small util over a full
blown development environoment, but any and all suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Mike
