Thanks

I haven't used Codewarrior for Java development (although I may in the
future because I have used Codewarrior for 'C' projects).
But in the last few days I've gone through a crash course of trying a Java
implementations for the Palm.
    - Borland has Hand Held Express, this is a plug-in for JBuilder 4
http://www.borland.com/jbuilder/hhe
Warning: This product is very immature. But it is very easy to
configure and start using. Relies on the J2ME KVM architecture.
    - IBM J9 VisualAge MicroEdition 1.3, this is a full blown multi-platform
FREE IDE http://www.embedded.oti.com/
This product was quite surprising but the documentation is a bit
daunting and mysterious at times. You will have to spend some time looking
at the examples. The J9 JVM outperforms the KVM in most of the tests I ran.
Quite a bit more capability packaged with this JVM than the KVM from Sun.

The next products I'm going to look at is the Waba
http://www.wabasoft.com , SuperWaba http://www.superwaba.org , Jump
http://sourceforge.net/projects/jump and WabaJump http://www.wabajump.org

Hope this helps you get started ;)
