Anyway, I *do* know about capacitors, and my comment was *because* of that fact. The "blasting" cap in the omitted part of that post was a hermetically sealed paper dielectric and foil axial capacitor. John Slade is the one that mentioned acid core capacitor. BTW why are you replying to Dustin, quoting me, and telling John about solder?
