Hi NG,

I am using Virus Scan 4.5 (with Service Pack 1) on Win2k and UltraEdit as a
Text Editor.
My problem is that opening UltraEdit lasts at least 7 seconds with VScan
enabled and 0.5 seconds with Vscan exited. If I disable all the components
of Vscan or enter all paths to files related with Uedit as excluded files it
is still the same.
The only way to get an acceptable response time when starting up Ultraedit
is terminating Vscan completely, but then I loose the Virus-Protection.
Does somebody have the same problem?

Who can help me? All hints are very welcome!
