I opened e-mail attachment resulting in C:(850mb Quantum) being wiped and my existing D:(504mb Seagate) being referred as C: This is odd to begin with as D: has been low-level formatted since it left the factory and was not bootable. After numerous reboots and auto-detection's, I ended up formatting D: from A: and started from scratch. Got my Quantum back at 805mb and lost the overlay driver but cannot get D: drive back. It can be auto-detected but DOS or 95 doesn't acknowledge it. FDISK finds drive 2 but says there's not enough space to create partitions etc.. If anyone can help we would greatly appreciate it. TIA Blaise. Ps hope cross posting this didn't get up anyone's nose. If it did....sorry.

Blaise : )
If You just need to get the drive going again and don't care about data
loss.... delete any dos partitions on that drive (2nd drive) then repartion
it to ?? 100% if You wish. then activate the dos partition... this is the
same reason I vowed never to use Norton Anti-Virus ever again... Norton
wiped a drive twice because it read a disk overlay as a virus and wanted to
clean it... without any way to abort ! Is this what happened to You?
Hope I've helped ~~~~ JP Smith
