Hey Ron, I have a long cable on my IBM deskstar UDMA drive, and this is what
I got on HD Tach:

Burst speed = 27.6 Mb/sec
Access time = 13.2 ms
CPU usage  = 4.5%

Do you think switching to the better cable at ultracable.com would give me
even better performance?
