The opti sound cards have always been a bastard of a card to set up,
Considering the price of a new card is cheap these days I would
seriously consider binning the opti and replacing it with a new card.
"Creative" are the easiest of them all to set up and I recon the most
compatible of cards with games.
You can get a cheap sondblaster just about anywhare, If you can't get
a creative get a ess card they arn't to bad
