🚀 go-pugleaf

Right..  I am having trouble with the cdrom.  If I play a music cd I can not
hear it through the speakers.  I can however hear it if I plug a headset
into the jack on the cd rom itself (not the jack on the soundcard)

My sound works with all my games and win 95.  Has anyone got a clue what
this could be?

ps.. I have had the machine apart and the cable from the cd to the sound
card is in tact.


this problem has only become apparent since I am trying to make mp3.   I
have tried several mp3 makers and I  get a read error all the time.  I am
sure that it is because my cd rom  is not co-operating with the rest of my
system.
