    how do you access ftp sites.  I have bullet proof ftp.  and can not
connect to any ftp site!  what are the settings you are surposed to use.  If
possible could you quote me a ftp site and the port number user name and
password.

Ps..  I don't want a whole heap of crap about me trying to get into ftp
sites I am not surposed to be in or trying to get someone to give me their
password.   Bullet proof needs a password for public sites.  CAN"T WORK IT

okay try mine:

(closed from october 13 till november 1)

(ftp.)nws.tzo.com
port 21 (standard, no need for changes)
login: mp3
password: mp3

you have to upload a song first to map 'upload', then you have credits for 5
more songs to download free.
no tricks, just works!
The connection is set to a max of 20kb/sec for each user.
If it doesn't work, try another program (cute ftp, ws-ftp or so)

Hi Cowboy,
                 It was impossible for me to connect to an FTP site as my
university used a proxy which stopped all students from using ftp, chat and
some other protocols/softwares. So to save you possible frustration check
this out if it might be your problem.

you can always try CUTEFTP ftp://ftp.cuteftp.com/pub/cuteftp/
or WS_FTP www.ipswitch.com

these program are much easier to handle.

just a suggestion though....
