Immediate openings available for Configuration Managers in the Richmond,  
VA area.

Qualified candidates must have experience with the following:
* Two years of experience in Configuration Management principals,  
processes, and procedures
* Experience working  in UNIX and NT platform development environments
* Two years technical exp. w/ focus on programming change management,  
software QA.
* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, must have  
the ability to work well with groups and individuals.

Preferred experience:
* Ability to document CM Plans, Configuration Identification. 
* Working knowledge of Rational CM tool suite.

Responsibilities:
In the primary roll of Configuration Management Administrator, candidate  
will be responsible for supporting the Software Configuration Management  
(SCM) user community: including problem determination and resolution for  
the automated tool suite, installation and management of the automated  
tool suite. Will provide education, training, and desk side assistance for the  
SCM user community. Will participate in all disciplines of SCM: Change  
Management, Version Management, Support Management, Build  
Management, Release Management, and Distribution Management in a  
culturally diverse development and support environment using multiple  
heterogeneous platforms.

Candidatewill be working directly with, and providing services to, project  
managers, team leads, analyst, and developers.  As a member of the team  
candidate will be expected to participate in the definition and development  
of the methodology workflow components of the CM Workflow.  Candidate  
need to be genuinely "hands-on" but also have strong people and business  
management skills.

Both contract and full-time positions are available. Salaries/ rates are
commensurate with experience. W-2 and Independent contractors are  
welcome, but sorry, no third-party subcontracting companies at this time.
