I have an HP External CD Writer 8230e ... However the disk that origonally
came with this CD Writer... has been messed up and no longer works... So I
dont have drivers for my CD Burner anymore :-( If anyone by chance has the
"Driver Installation Disk" for this CD burner.. If you could zip the files
up and email them to me at leslies@santaland.com . Or... something... I
would really appreciate it.

You should be able to download them from the HP site. Heck, I got
mine there, and mine is a LOT older than yours! I have a 7200i.
Otherwise, you might check driverguide.com for a different source. My
drivers would be too old for your burner. Hope this helps. -Dean

Available for download here:

http://www.scmmicro.com/downloads.html?PID[0]=3&PID[1]=4&PID[2]=17&PID[3]=36&PID[4]=35&PID[5]=16&s1=8&s2=13#PP-ATAPI

and that is one line in your browser so probably needs some cut&paste.
You need the PP-ATAPI variant and make sure you get the right one for
your operating system.
