I hope somebody can assist me with this problem
on boot up the system hangs when the mouse and hourglass appear
when I do step by step through bootup and say NO to any of these files(not
needed to be all of them)
the system continues on correctly
c:/windows/stsem/vrturd.386
vnetbios.vxd
viagart.vxd
dfs.vxd
vetmon9x
the system is running via chipset with only dialup adapter (tcp/ip protocol
installed)
It has also got autocad2000 installed (no problems when this program is not
installed)
any hints out there????

Thanks in advance
                    Adam

Your antivirus may have something to do with playing with anyone of the
autoexec.bat, win.ini or system.ini.

Are you able to replace these files with a back up through dos? That may
work.
