Are there different types of 72 pin EDO memory? I just got a new ECS motherboard that is supposed to support a total of 128MB of 72 pin EDO ram. It will only recognize 64MB with 4-32MB chips installed or 32MB with 2-32MB chips installed. The memory counts up fine on the computer I removed it from. I have heard the newer 168 pin PC133 SDRAM modules won't always work with older style boards (233mhz and slower) that can use 168 pin PC100 SDRAM. I am wondering if the same thing applies to the 72 pin EDO memory chips? Anyone have any ideas? Duane H
