:buy a Pentium or it's equivalent. Question:

:What is the difference, if any, between a Cyrix cpu and a Pentium? Does
:Pentium have any advantage over Cyrix?

:Any info or opinions would be greatly appreciated!

RE: the Cyrix questions....I have recently assembled a 6x86 with the
Cyrix P133+ chip. It does everything the adds and reviews says it
should.
I purchased the Tiger Software setup (tower case, motherboard and CPU)
and installed all the necessary parts. I now have an excellent PC that
outperforms the Pentiums I have worked with. I think that I would
contribute this to the ratings of the clock speed.
I am also running Windows95, a 2 gig Maxtor and 525 meg Conner 16 meg
EDO memory and assorted software packages. No problems....
I'd welcome concerns via email if you'd like. I can't say enough good
things about my "1,500.00 computer!!!
