I just brought me father in law's Canon BJC600e home with me over the holidays and I'm getting an error that the waste ink container is full. In browsing the we I found that Canon wants $150 to fix this problem. I also understand the waste ink container consists of a couple of pads that can be replaced or cleaned, but the problem seems that no one knows how to reset the error message. Does anyone have any idea or experience with this problem?? Thanks in advance for your help. jsb@cyberramp.net

I have a bjc600 and had similar problem. Error message that a color was out but it wasn't. In reading manual I thought I had same trouble. Called Canon and was told maybe ink tank wasn't flowing right. May have dried up at the wick transfer area. (Was using Nu-Cote ink) Was instructed by Canon tech to tap tank against desk with paper towel to catch ink in a way that would force ink out the hole where the wick is. Will make a mess. When I had a flow of ink coming out the hole I reinstalled it, then ran the complete clean cycle. Cleared up the problem. Hope this helps.
