I am trying to install a Seagate 6.5Gb drive as a second HD on my PC. I am connecting it to the CD Drive data cable, as the the second connector on my primary hard drive data cable will not reach it. I set the jumper to primary on the HD and to slave on the CD Drive. The BIOS auto detects the new drive correctly (6506MB) but when I use the Seagate Disk Manager it tells me that the size of the HD is only 540(I think)MB. At this stage I exit the setup process and reset the CMOS so only the primary drive is present. When I reboot the PC however it does not boot to Windows until I physically disconnect the new HD. Please advise. Andy K
