Amstrad CPC-464/6128 data recovery

I have a bit of a problem I could do with technical help for:

I've owned a CPC-464 and a CPC-6128 and actually had a 5.25" floppy drive
working with the old 'Straddles. On both the native 3" discs and on 5.25"
floppies, I have a LOAD of Tasword-processed text which I'd like to port to
a PC. I have no idea how I could do it. Any method is fair game, from
setting up a 486 to read 3" or 5.25" Amstrad-formatted discs, to making up a
parallel interface cable from Amstrad to PC. The only thing I don't really
want to have to do is go to paper at any stage along the way - I know
scan/OCR is pretty good but I'd prefer to avoid this - we are talking a LOT
of paper and a lot of time here...

Anyone who has a solution I would be most grateful - this stuff is of great
personal value to me and the machine and discs have only just re-surfaced
after I'd given them up for lost so I'm over the moon.

Check out John Elliot's web site at:
http://www.seasip.demon.co.uk/Cpm/index.html
There are many useful links there.

However, if you still have a problem you can send me your
3" disks and I will transfer the data on them for a smallish fee.

Contact me by email if you need any help. By the way, where
are you?

	Mike.
