I have purchase NEC printer model P2000 on July 11, 1997 at Datamini
Computer Sdn. Bhd. , Midlands Park Centre,Penang, Malaysia with the cost of
RM380.00 . Last week that particular printer having some circuit problem
(as mentioned in the manual- after few testing I done) where I need to sent
back to the dealer or NEC to be repair because it still under warranty( NEC
product have ONE year warranty for printer).

I go back to the shop (Datamini) on Mar 9,1998 and the shop asking me to
sent to NEC Technical Support Center in Penang( you see ...the shop suppose
sent the printer for me ..i bought the printer form the shop not from
NEC..but the don't ..what kind of service is this). Dont't like the
argument become longer I sent the printer myself to NEC Technical Support
Center. Five days later Mar 13,1998 I called NEC Technical Support Center
asking for my printer ...but what they said shock me up! I NEED TO PAY
RM380.00 for the repair they done( RM380.00 is cost for new NEC P2000
printer) .

THE PRODUCT IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND I NEED TO PAY THE COST....THEY
CLAIM IT IS NOT PRODUCT OR PART DEFECT BUT THE DEFECT CAUSED BY
USER.....ALL THE CIRCUIT INSIDE THE PRINTER BITE BY MOUSE....HOW CRAZY ARE
THEIR CLAIM! HOW CAN MICE GO IN TO THE PRINTER AND BITE THE CIRCUIT !!!!!
One more thing ...if i decide to cencelled the repair, I still need to pay
the service......WHAT KIND OF SERVICE IS THIS......YOU SEE....THIS IS 24
STANDBY SERVICE BY NEC...I THINK IT JUST ONSENSE ....FOR ME THEIR SERVICE
IS OUT!!!

FOR OTHER USER ..WHAT DO YOU THINK??? HAVE YOU HAVING SAME PROBLEM WITH
ME...LET SHARE WITH ME IN THIS DISCUSSION GROUP...I NEED YOUR COMMENT
..WHAT SHOULD I DO??
