How to remove AltaVista's "recent" list from IE?

When you go to type in keywords to search for in AltaVista, a list of recent
searches drops down. I find this quite useful as I repeat searches often.
However, now the list is so full it is no longer useful.

I am familiar with editing the Registry, but could not find the recent file
list for AltaVista, like you can for many other things. Where does this lie?
Is it a cookie somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, never even bothered with the Content sheet before! But I gather this
removes ALL auto-complete entries, so I guess i just better have a look
around and see if i can find just AltaVista's. However, since i rarely use
other autocompletes than in Altavista, which i want to clear, I will
probably just resort to your method if i don't find something soon.

Thanks again!

you can go to their site and click on the search box. when the drop down
menu appears just move your pointer to the ones you dont want and press the
delete key.
