In <sjoeh2pqh725khhdnhku4vshd21aqfp6of@4ax.com>, Bob Ward brought to my attention the following that I edited to include what I want to add to: >On Sun, 24 Sep 2006 14:44:30 -0500, Vic Smith ><thismailautodeleted@comcast.net> wrote: > >>On Sun, 24 Sep 2006 06:09:38 GMT, Bob Ward <bobward@email.com> wrote: >> >>>On Sat, 23 Sep 2006 18:37:08 -0700, Abe <noone@nowhere.com> wrote: >>> >>>Why do you feel that it is morally superior for the studios to force >>>WalMart to order more DVDs than they expect to sell? >>> >>>WalMart isn't telling the studios how they can sell their product - >>>but they ARE telling the studios that they won't be selling as many >>>DVDs through WalMart. >>> >>Do you consider what you just said "spinning"? >>Or just plain old bullshit? >> >>--Vic > >Have you stopped beating your wife? I say more power to anyone that successfully profits by being a supplier to Wal-Mart! A bit of research tells me that WM pushes, squeezes and abuses their suppliers at least as badly as the horror stories that I heard about Sears! It surely appears to me that WM does not abuse merely their employees! I would suggest seeing how Snapper succeeds in selling lawnmowers and even manufacturing them in the USA by not selling through "Wally World", and how the Vlassic pickle company bellied-up apparently-to-me as a result of becoming a WM supplier! - Don Klipstein (don@misty.com)
