You are out of your waters.  I was constantly aware of the power the
FCC in the 1950s and 1960s had to shut down or revoke the license of
radio and television stations.  One sentence out of Howard Stern's
mouth would have shut a station up tight.  Newton Minow was as close
to a king as they come in a line of kings.  No one in broadcasting
dared cross him in any way.
