Chimps, too. I watched in horror as they happily ate fresh at the Bronx
Zoo.

Coprophilia is an acquired, um, talent often denied to us born and
raised in the city.

Although I do have to say that after just one year in the countryside, I
can now instantly tell the difference between dogshit, catshit,
chickenshit, horseshit, pigshit and cowshit.

Without ever actually seeing any of it, I mean.

As the great and honorable poet Loudon Wainwright III put it (in his
immortal "Dead Skunk In The Middle Of The Road"):

"Bless me, that ain't no rose;
 Roll up your windows and hold your nose:
 You don't need to look and you don't need to see
 'Cause you can feel it in your olfactory"
