Make Your Vote _Really_ Count

California voters may be in for a touch of Chicago charm, thanks to a
newly discovered feature in some voting machines that could allow a
voter to cast multiple ballots.

Activist group Black Box Voting discovered that by merely pressing a
yellow button on the back of the AVC Edge electronic voting machine,
made by Sequoia Voting Systems, a user can vote as many times as he
wants. The button is intended to be a manual override switch, in case
poll workers cant access a machine via smart cards.

Sequoia acknowledge the potential for abuse and said itll come up with
a fixafter Tuesdays elections, where the machine in question will be
widely used by California counties and more sporadically in a few other
states. The California secretary of state responded with an advisory
instructing poll workers to be on the alert for the distinctive
electronic chirp the button emits when pressed.

Hey, don't try to upstage us! We just figured out the problem with
the Palm Beach County voters a while back. Her name is Ann and she
isn't the smartest card in the deck.

Florida politics - the next reality tv show on Fox.

We have:
(cripple joke druggie) Limbaugh
(I'll vote where I damn well want to vote) Coulter
(I didn't do it, but if I did this is how I did it) OJ
(Why doesn't Jeb love me) Harris (the woman in red)
(I was drunk when I said nigger) Arza
W's smarter brother, who thinks all the braindead have a right to life
scads of chads and pads
and the wild and wacky world of Miami politics, where the poor get
kicked out of the slums so they can be proper homeless people.

I have absolutely zero trust in electronic voting systems because there
is no paper trail, no peer reviewed software and poorly designed
equipment. Diebold seems to be the biggest problem. Their machines run
Windows and the code is still a work in progress with constant changes.
They even went so far as to use a lock whose key is commonly used on
cheepo office furniture. They will not allow any sort of independent
review of their software to verify program logic.

But courts, congress-people, prominent anti-racists, etc., have declared
that failure to have Sequioa/Diebold systems in place is racist against
non-whites!

Don't forget that Diebold is part of the conspiracy to Mexicanize
the USA!!

So if you are an anti-racist, Diebold, Sequioa, etc., is on your side.
