Obviously someone else thinks it it odd that people are constantly whinging
about Office97 being too slow, Microsoft programs changing settings, etc.
There seems to be some sort of implication that they had to buy a Microsoft
product in the first place. If you want a slow, innefficiently-coded,
all-consuming beast of a program, buy Microsoft. If you want a fast,
productive program that does what YOU want it to do, buy one of the many
superior products from reputable developers on the market. Case in point:
With Eudora Lite you could have all your mail read and replies sent off in
the the time it takes Outlook to get up steam.

Daz.

P.S. In fairness to MS, I don't think it was wrong of them to assume that
computers had become faster in the two years between Office95 and
Office97.That is,I'm pretty sure Office 97 runs as fast on a P166MMX as
Office95 did on a P90.
