Hi Jacques:

I have been following your postings a while and haven't seen many replies. 
The ideal place for BIOS workings of monitor cards would be the IBM
Technical Reference manual for starters and some graphics text books eg: by
Steve Rimmer having code for various cards.

Anyway, let me know if I could be any more helpful
