I thought that the energy costs (what we pay foreign oil, domestic oil,
and domestic coal, as well as domestic water) was less than 10% of our
typical product cost. And most of that 10% stays right here at the
distributor and the refiner. So your statement indicates that you think
that a shift of 3% of our costs to a US local source would make a large
difference. Since we trade with a number of foreign countries to the
tune of around 20% of our production, it seems that our foreign oil
costs are in the noise, by themselves?
