I sure didn't expect anyone to try and defend that "dangerous activity"
argument. Now you're making me wonder if they're aren't a whole bunch of you
who need to get out more. Maybe you could spend a day with a contractor of
some sort to see how the world got built. Apparently it's a miracle that all
those high-rise windows get washed, and how all those TV antennas get
installed. :-)

I sometimes wonder if it's just me, or if the population in general is
losing its mind. We have yuppies paying someone to mow their lawns, because
they don't have time. But then they find time to join a health club. People
playing "golf" on computers. A pox of gas guzzling SUVs, few of which will
ever leave the pavement. Not to mention diet pizza, the ultimate bafflement.

Now you tell me I shouldn't see the absurdity in statements that nuclear
waste disposal safety can be worked out, but that installing PVs is
dangerous. So I write a little humor, mocking those afraid to climb a
ladder, and you come back telling me about somebody's broken toe. Good
grief!

One of my friends keeps telling me that we're headed for a time when
everyone will be able to put together a Powerpoint presentation, but that
nobody will remember how to check their oil. Maybe he's right. Can't risk
burning our fingers! <G>

PS I DO get the point about evaluating risks, I just think it's one of
the lamest raps on PV so far.
