registration.

Parties: A book (comic) release party will be held for Bill Levy (if

                Art Show Information

Once again Confabulation will have an art show -- and once again the

art show director is new to the show. Be gentle and he won't hang your

art face to the wall.

All art must have a Science Fiction or Fantasy theme. Prints, 3-D

pieces, and decorated clothing are all acceptable. There is a $0.50

display fee for each piece and a 10% commission on all pieces sold.

Pieces will be sold at a quick sale price if you give permission.

Pieces with two or more bids will go to auction at 1100 on Sunday, 7

February. Artists attending Confbabulation 5 will be paid by check by

1300 on Sunday; other artists will be mailed their unsold art and a

check for items sold by 13 February.

Send all mail concerning the art show, including art itself to the

following address (NOT to the Confabulation P. O. Box--NO MATTER WHAT

THE PURPLE UPDATE SAID!--)

                     Tom Pyter

                750 Garrison Chapel Road

               Bloomington, IN 47403

If mailing art, enclose return postage (or a check for same) and a

check for display fees. Please send a SASE to the Pyter address for

forms. All art must arrive in Bloomington by Wednesday, 3 Feb 1993.

The con committee reserves the right to refuse to display any piece of

art.

If you need more information write or call Tom at (812) 825-3114. He's

generally available between 1800 and 2100 EST; the answering machine is
