For the fen on the net who do not live in Ontario, here is a bit of
background. Prisoners of Gravity is TV Ontario's weekly critical
look at fanatsy/science fiction/comic books. The show is hosted by
Commander Rick (Rick Green, formerly best know as a member of the
comedy group "The Frantics"), who approaches the whole show
something of a tonge-in-cheek attitude. TV Ontario, which does
these shows is owned by the Ontario Government's Ministry of
Education. They run everything from university credit courses, to
a series on making bheer at home and just about everything in
between.

What follows is the fall schedule for Prisoners of Gravity (taken
from a TV Ontario flyer). I am curious, is there anything remotely
like this being done anywhere else? I should also note that there
was a crew from TV Ontario at MagiCon in Orlando video taping
interviews for use in future Prisoners of Gravity programs
(including, I suspect the broadcast on fans).

latest project to celebrate his work - The Ray Bradbury Chronicles
comic-book series - with contributing artists Dave Gibbons and P.
Craig Russell.

madness in science fiction and comics. His guests include British
