Hi -- I'm looking for info about Evecon (sp?) in the Washington DC area, the weekend of Jan 1... can anyone tell me about such an event? Specifically, I'm looking for directions on how to get there via public transportation, costs, and how to make reservations if that's still possible. If I have the name wrong, but someone knows of a con going on in DC that weekend, that's probably what I meant. Thanks! (personal reply to dpolicar@athena.mit.edu is OK.) dp

Evecon 10 is January 1, 2, and 3 in Crystal City Virginia. It's close to the Crystal City, Pengagon City, and Pentagon Metro stations. I usually use the Pentagon station myself, since between that station and the hotel is an open area, while I always get lost if I try to find my way within Crystal City. It's in the DoubleTree Inn, 300 Army/Navy Drive. Formerly the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza. The same place it's been held for the past few years. The hotel's number is (703) 892-4100. Registration is $25 at the door. Evecon is produced by Fantek, the same people who run CastleCon each July. Keith Lynch, kfl@access.digex.com
