Two years ago, a beautiful woman walked into my party at Silicon, a science fiction convention traditionally held over Thanksgiving weekend in the San Francisco Bay Area. Two years later, we're still insepararable -- and are throwing a party to celebrate. The event will be on Saturday night, November 28, from 10 PM PM until we all drop from exhaustion. In keeping with tradition, I'll be serving exotic coffees to help keep convention-goers hopping into the wee hours. (This year's flavors will include chocolate raspberry and toasted chestnut, as well as Connoisseur french roast for the discriminating caffeine addict.) If you're not a coffee drinker, I'll also have three varieties of hot chocolate, spiced cider, and -- back by popular demand -- a big bowl of freshly made, genuine whipped cream to top everything off. Fruit juices, apples, pretzels, and various other munchies will also be available. Come on by for a dose of good coffee, good food, and good conversation.
