Hi Folks,

I am currently doing some research on the new technology being used by
airlines. I was hoping someone out there could help, give me some
suggestions for good websites or places to get up to the minute info. The
kind of thing I am looking for is how the airlines are using the Internet to
improve customer service and any other ways the airlines are using similiar
technology.

Try the BA website....they are pushing self-checkin and other selfhelp tech.
www.ba.com...Also have a peek at Alaska/Horizon Air's site, www.alaskaair.com.
Very progressive in the technology arena. I previously worked on many hi-tech
forward looking projects with them. You may even glean some info from their
vendors such as Bank of America (!), who are providing passenger recognition
technology, Micron, and Kinetics. Also, have a look at Continental Airlines and
Delta Airlines corporate pages.

Good luck!
