Local 12 has learned the name of the man who allegedly shot a woman three times in Kennedy Heights on Tuesday afternoon. Officers say they believe the victim filed a theft complaint against her shooter-26 year old Rayshawn Kelley-earlier today.

The woman was driven to the firehouse on Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge around 1 p.m. She was taken to hospital-officers say she had three gunshot wounds. Her condition is not known.

The man who drove her to the fire house told police that he had gone to pick the woman up at an apartment complex on Northdale Place in Kennedy Heights, when Kelley came out of the building and opened fire on the woman.

Kelley is on the run. He'll be charged with felonious assault if he's caught. Officers say he spent four years in prison on robbery charges. He was released last October.

If you know where Kelley can be located, call Crimestoppers at 352-3040.
