Dateline: CINCINNATI, Ohio 
A man was in stable condition Saturday night after being shot and then crashing a car into the front porch of a home day care center.

Police say a black man was shot in the neck on Whetzel Avenue in Madisonville at about 3 p.m. Saturday. He drove off in a car but crashed into the home. No one was injured inside the house.

The man was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. No arrests have been made.

A 31-year-old Fairfield man has confessed to robbing a Green Township bank on Saturday morning.

Hamilton County court records state that Stevie Stevenson confessed to robbing the Guardian Savings Bank, at 5901 Colerain Ave., on Saturday, during a police interview. Stevenson, who is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping, will be arraigned on Monday.

Police said Stevenson and another man entered the bank with silver handguns and demanded cash from a teller at 9:18 a.m. Investigators said Stevenson and the other gunman went behind the counter and forced employees to the floor before opening several teller drawers and taking money.

Police said the men made a bank employee enter the vault area before leaving the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. Stevenson was later arrested by Hamilton County Sheriff's detectives and Green Township police.

The second gunman remains at large. Police said he was last seen wearing a black hoodie with a white T-shirt covering his face.
