An aggravated robbery occurred at the Bob Evans located at 5245 North Bend Rd. in Monfort Heights at about 10:45 p.m. Police say two men entered the closed restaurant when one of the employees took the trash out. When the armed suspects entered the restaurant, they tied up the employees in the kitchen area. The suspects stole cash from the restaurant and fled the scene. Officials have not yet released the amount of money stolen. A Green Township K-9 unit assisted in the search for the suspects, but they were not able to track them. The first suspect is described as a black male, about six feet tall and slightly overweight. He wore a black suit and a purple tie at the time of the robbery. The second suspect is a black male about five foot, six inches tall and very thin. He wore a white hoodie with a blue bandana covering his face, tan jeans, a studded belt and tan work boots at the time of the robbery. The Hamilton County Sheriff๏ฟฝs Office and Green Township police are investigating the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or call Crimestoppers at (513) 352-3040.
