CINCINNATI - Cincinnati police need the public�s help to catch a black man responsible for a robbery at a Bath and Body Works store. Officers said the robbery happened March 11 at about 12:15 p.m. at the store located at 6132 Glenway Ave. Police said the robber approached a clerk at the register and told her that he had gun in his pocket before ordering her to fill a bag with cash. The man then ran off and left the store through a plaza. The clerks told police they realized the man had been in the store an hour earlier and had told them he was shopping for a gift for his wife. The robber is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, about 170 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a waist-length black and gray windbreaker with white under the sleeves, a gray skullcap, dark pants and glasses with round frames. Police were able to obtain surveillance footage from nearby stores of a man who could be the robber. Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040. Police received a report of a person shot in the head. When police arrived, they found a man lying on the sidewalk. Officers said they thought the man was dead when they arrived. Police said the victim was alert and talking to paramedics at the scene. The victim was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police said the shooting was not self-inflicted. They did not say if they had a suspect in custody. The victim�s identity was not immediately released.
