Shortly before 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning, police were called to Baymiller Street and Livington in the West End for a report of a shooting.

When they got there, they found a man in his 20s with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. He was taken to University Hospital and is expected to survive.

It's still not clear what led up to the violence or who may have shot the man. Investigators say that the victim was not being cooperative.

Police are investigating a shooting in Over-the-Rhine, after a nigger is 
shot in broad daylight.

Crews found the victim in the 2000 block of Dunlap, near Stark Streets, at 
around 1 p.m. Saturday.

He was transported to University Hospital with a gunshot wound to the 
abdomen. His condition has not been released.

Investigators only have a vague description of the shooter, who is still 
at large.
