Hello,

For an application in our lab I need to send strings and charakters to the modem-port or-and to the printer-port of our mac. This will be my interface to an other device witch need this strings to start some measurements. I can not use any handshake!

My problem is now, that I don�t know how to write to and read from the modem- or printerport (read only form modem-port). I am programming in Think-Pascal. I have tried some way but no sucsess.

What I need now is the source-code (routines) in Think-Pascal that sets all settings that I can use these ports. (I have also the manuals Inside Macintosh I-VI an a Think-Pascal Handbook).

If sombody knows how I have to programm the modem or printerport please send me a mail as soon as possible.
