PCanywhere for Win - Help with Video problem needed.

I have an annoying problem where the Host machine appears to have an
all-Black desktop color or window-background color, with some or all
icons visible only.
Ive already pulled out my hair, so what am I doing wrong ?
One more thing, when my friend rings me, it works perfectly.
Any ideas. ?
