Hello all,

	Ever since I heard about hypnosis, I have been wondering something.
I don't hold much stock in the regression or memory therapy hypnosis 
purports to be capable of because I have heard many reports that say
the patient, under hypnosis, is so driven to please the hypnotizer that
he/she often just makes stuff up to please the hypnotizer.
	I am, however, very interested in something I have heard more than
once, and that is that an hour of hyponosis is worth 8 hours of sleep.
	I would really appreciate any insight or references to some good
literature on this facet of hypnosis.
	Note: if you can only be made to believe that you've had 8 hours of
sleep and your body still needs the other 7 hours, please let me know that
as well.
