There are many, many approaches to this. I will suggest the simplest
way I can think of to do this.

When you have a decision to make, ask yourself how you would feel
later on for each of the choices. If you are quiet and attentive, you
will get a feeling for it. For me that feeling usually centers around
the area of my navel.

The most important thing is to practice and pay attention. It is the
sort of thing where I can tell you what to do, but I'm not really
telling you anything, because I can't give you the experience. 

At first, you will probably be wrong a lot of the time, so don't base
very important decisions on this alone, until you develop more
confidence, and learn to distinguish between real intuitions and
wishful thinking.

Hypnosis could help by quieting the mind down so that it is easier to
listen to this feeling.
