We try hard to ensure that our service will not accomodate spam senders, and in fact, it would not be very cost-efficient for any advertiser to do so due to the high cost per SMS as compared to e-mail. However, there are many applications in which it is desirable to send information to a (possibly large) closed group of consenting users or members by SMS quickly and easily. Our service offers an automated and controlled way to do so. All users of our service are required to fully identify themselves and confirm the validity of the SMS originator numbers on messages they send, thus further limiting the potential for abuse. We constantly monitor and support our service; this is not a PC hooked to the Internet and left on its own, as SMS gateways often seem to be nowadays. -Guido Hoss Developer, NovelSoft Ltd. http://www.sms-wap.com Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
