I've heard a lot of talk about Linux and open source software, so I decided that I wanted to look in and see what exactly Linux was. Weeellll, I sat down to get started installing Slackware Linux and I couldn't partition my hard drive. I tried using FIPS and it told me that my last cylinder wasn't empty. I had run windows defrag immediatly before running FIPS. I was wondering if Windows might've written something to my hard drive while I was closing down windows95. I thought of using Dos defrag, but I noticed that when we installed Win95 it was overritten with win defrag. Can anyone help me? Ryan E-Mail me at RDM@inlink.com
