How can i make my offboard PCI Promise Ultra66
EIDE controller work AND be bootable with RedHat
6.1 (Kernel 2.2.12-20). I would like to be able
to run a lilo dual boot W95/linux from the same
HDD on different partitions.

Promise has provided a set of beta drivers for kernel version 2.2.5
which works but i can't make them work whenm using kernel 2.2.12-20
(their not just supposed to work with insmod but should be loaded at
boot time in the initrd according to the setup script provided with the
drivers)

please help!!
