David, Changing the line to 'su news -c /etc/rc.d/rc.news' is fine - the system bootscript you want to put it in is most likely /etc/rc.d/rc.local - it really doesn't matter which of those files (/etc/rc.d) you choose as most of them are bootup scripts, however, I strongly recommend you use the rc.local as the others serve much more specific purposes. When you run the rc.news binary and receive the 'no command' error it is because the file is most likely pointing to an incorrect location of innd. Edit the rc.news file and set the line to the correct location of innd. -Adam "David. E.
