I tried to install Mandrake 7.1 last week sometime and it didn't work -
but I can't blame Mandrake for me not knowing what kinda graphics card I
have!!!
I had to pick quit at the last stage of the installation :-(. Can
anyone help? Currently when I try to start the computer I get "Stage1
Geom Error".
I was advised to run fdisk from the win98 boot floopy - I tried this but
I don't know dos very well and so that came to nothing :-( Can anyone
tell me what to do now??? Please!!!!
Is there a way to wipe the hd altogether from dos?
then try installing Linux again?
The comp is a Cyrix 100MHz, with 32MB Ram and an 800mb hd.
thanks a lot,
Chris.
